This role will show a location of Barnsley, as that is where our central team are based, but this role will be based in Wellsprings West Region (Barnsley and Leeds academies)

Facilities and Compliance Manager Wellspring is a growing community of 33 Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Provision Academies across West, Central and East regions. We believe in making a real difference by improving the lives and life chances of every young person in our care.

About the role
We require an experienced and passionate Facilities and Compliance Manager to join our talented and hardworking team.

The post holder will report to the Regional Estates Manager and will sit in the Facilities Management team to deliver safe, fit for purpose and inspirational school environments for our young people. Wellspring is a growing community of Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Provision Academies across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

The Facilities and Compliance Manager will play a vital role, leading on and coordinating the facilities statutory compliance regimes, managing contracts, contractors, and PFI arrangements.

Each academy has an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of operatives, that are managed locally by Facilities and Estates Managers, in close partnership with our Academy Leaders. Your role will be to work within this management team, supporting Wellspring’s Leeds and Barnsley based academies with their facilities compliance and developments.

Wellspring places great emphasis on the quality of its physical environments, actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and regeneration. In recent years, the Trust has seen exponential growth through Academy conversions and the development of new Academies.
