Roles and Responsibilities
The following outlines the core responsibilities of the Contractor’s onsite AV technician in their daily operations:
- Act as the primary escalation point for AV equipment issues that cannot be resolved by other support teams.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems.
- Coordinate and manage the physical installation of AV hardware.
- Fulfill ad hoc AV installation requests.
- Decommission and transport AV equipment as part of room refresh projects.
- Maintain and organize AV storage and spare inventory across EMEA.
- Manage AV equipment logistics, including shipping and receiving across European customer offices.
- Troubleshoot and support integrated audio systems in conference rooms (Q-SYS, AES67, Dante).
- Communicate AV configuration changes to the customer and maintain system backups.
- Diagnose and repair Crestron hardware/software post-programming.
- Proficient with Crestron Toolbox and support of devices such as DM, NVX, touch panels, TX/RX, HD-MD, HDBaseT, etc.
- Track support requests using Zendesk; ensure accurate ticket logging and updates.
- Provide data to assist full-time employees in generating key reporting metrics.
- Monitor the AV support queue and respond to tickets in a timely manner.
- Engage with internal teams via Slack for updates, collaboration, and escalations.
- Provide Google Meet Admin support.
- Support the commissioning and turnover of new conference rooms and specialty AV spaces.
- Troubleshoot and maintain LED wall equipment (Sedna, Samsung, Planar).
- General Qualifications
- Proficient with the Google Workspace ecosystem, both software and hardware.
- Solid understanding of AV signal flow and corporate AV environments.
- Hands-on experience with Crestron systems, audio DSPs, and Dante/AES67 mic systems.
- Skilled in commercial AV installation, including:
- Cable pulling, rack building, cable management
- Terminations (e.g., RJ45, DB9)
- Device mounting and structural accommodations
- Capable of loading and troubleshooting system firmware/configurations (Crestron, QSC, Shure).
- Ability to troubleshoot LED wall hardware issues.
- Demonstrated experience managing large projects, vendors, and integrators.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, especially AV over IP.
- Competent using MacOS, Windows, and Chrome OS.

40 hours - Mon – Fri, be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required.
