Job Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Maintain accounting records and files in an organised manner
• Process payments and invoices accurately and promptly
• Provide support in budget preparation and expense management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Collaborate with the team to improve accounting processes
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
