As a GCSE English Tutor, you will deliver tailored lessons to students preparing for their GCSE English exams. Your role will involve building confidence, improving comprehension, and fostering a love for literature and language. Whether your students need help mastering core concepts or refining their writing skills, your expertise will make a significant difference in their academic journey.
This flexible, part-time role allows you to choose your working hours, with the opportunity to schedule sessions in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings, based on your availability and the student's needs.- Provide personalized, one-to-one tutoring for GCSE English students.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs and goals.
- Help students develop key skills in reading, writing, and critical analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to parents or carers.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- PGCE in English or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- A strong understanding of the GCSE English curriculum.
