Salary range: £30,400- £38,000 per annum DOE + red-hot benefits

We're looking for an Economic Crime Learning and Development Specialist to join the team and support the development, management and delivery of an annual Economic Crime (EC) training plan, supporting colleague development, enhancing EC risk culture, awareness and capabilities across business units, and operational functions.This will require you to work with the Learning and Development Manager to develop functional training needs analysis and work with learning partners on the model to deliver this effectively.
What you'll be doing- Support the implementation of the Economic Crime training strategy & framework, underpinned by an annual training needs analysis (TNA) and annual delivery plan
- Drive the L&D annual planning, schedules, content upgrades and delivery of Economic Crime training, collaborating with learning partners across business units & the L&D Manager
- Support the creation of learning modules on internal tools / systems with creative flair and always putting colleague experience at the centre
- Support the facilitation & EC training delivery including build and review of assessments
- Liaise with Business units, operational & control teams to assess capabilities, effectiveness and competence to determine functional training requirements as part of the TNA build & content review
- Adapt training to align to strategic priorities and address emerging risks and/or regulatory change to help ensure the programme is current and supports the change we need.
- Work with VM learning community to identify the delivery models that achieve blended leaning and communication programmes to ensure effectiveness.
- Support Governance by ongoing tracking, MI and report creation to oversee training completion and impact
- Leverage insights from internal reviews i.e Business Wide and Business Unit risk assessments into the learning content and delivery priorities, driving better outcomes and closing gaps
- Key role in Transformation programme associated working groups
- Knowledge of financial crime requirements, in particular AML / CTF, Sanctions, Sanctions, Trade Finance, Fraud advisory, customer screening, CDD On Boarding, Payment services & treasury - list not exhaustive
- An understanding of UK Money Laundering and Sanctions regulation; FCA requirements; and JLMSG Guidance although SMEs will contribute to content
- Knowledge of Retail Banks products, distribution channels, customer types (retail and business mass market).
- Experience in training delivery methods including face-to-face and virtual facilitation
- Experience in the development of learning delivery plans and of learning content within a Financial Services firm
- Experience building and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Experience in training needs analysis, competency and performance management frameworks
- Knowledge of wider Economic Crime disciplines including fraud; bribery and corruption; and facilitation of tax evasion.
- Knowledge and experience in managing budget accountability
