Commercial Finance Manager (6m FTC)

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially savvy Finance Manager (6m FTC) to take full ownership of the financial management of a £20M+ Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract within University of Greenwich, a prestigious university.This is an exciting opportunity to drive financial performance, optimise profitability, and provide strategic insights, all while partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure financial objectives align with business success.
As the Finance Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility, ensuring financial targets are met while driving cost efficiencies and revenue growth. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, providing key insights to support strategic decision-making.Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will influence commercial decisions, manage risk and compliance, and ensure performance aligns with contractual and business objectives. Your role will also involve overseeing month-end analysis, audits, and financial scenario planning, supporting contract variations, and identifying opportunities to enhance financial performance.

What you bring:
Qualified Finance Professional (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)Strong experience in financial management, reporting, and commercial finance
Analytical mindset, able to identify risks, trends, and opportunities
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.)
Confident communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and support stakeholders
A proactive leader with strategic vision and commercial acumen
