Package: £40,000 per annum + bonus + company car
Working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: National coverage - ideal location is Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Field Training and Development Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating field force effectiveness plans and training initiatives.

Your work will directly contribute to driving client sales, executing the field marketing plan, and enhancing the overall performance of our sales force.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development - Design and execute a comprehensive learning roadmap for the field force, ensuring they are equipped to meet market demands and deliver on KPIs
  • Onboarding and Training - Collaborate with the client, account teams, and field management to create and deliver onboarding tools and training programs for new starters
  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with various functions within the account and the client to understand business processes and identify training needs
  • Training Program Management - Lead the development and delivery of targeted training programs focused on sales processes, objection handling, planning, communication styles, and more
  • Performance Management - Support Line Managers in the performance management of the sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Evaluation and Improvement - Develop and implement training evaluation processes to measure effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to meet evolving business needs
  • Field Visits and Coaching - Conduct regular field visits to assess and support team members, identifying development needs and sharing best practices
  • Innovation - Monitor market trends to create or implement new training methodologies for the field team
  • HR Compliance - Ensure adherence to HR policies while managing and coaching the team
