Key Account Manager - Scotland and Northern Ireland (Full-Time, Permanent)
An incredible opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual has arisen to join one of our long-standing clients as a Key Account Manager for Scotland and NI. In this role, you will be responsible for representing all the brands associated with our client across Scotland and Northern Ireland.Your main responsibilities will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, conduct market research and report your findings back to head office, working closely with our client's distribution network, and advance brand awareness by travelling across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities (this is not a direct sales role)
- Liaise closely with Head Office (based in Livingston, central Scotland) and Brand Managers to identify new opportunities.
- Gather field and market intelligence and report findings back to head office.
- Work closely with the distribution network to advance brand awareness.
- Review market trends and new product opportunities.
- Develop customer relations across all levels of business.
- Travel to regional areas - approximately 3 days per week.
- Assess marketing opportunities across all brands.
- Attend weekly update calls with head office.
- Regularly travel to head office for Brand Review Meetings.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must have:- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Previous sales experience (preferred but not essential)
- Confidence to build strong and meaningful relationships with diverse clients and customers across Scotland/Northern Ireland.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
You may also be required to work a couple of weekends per year depending on business needs/events.
