Social Care Worker (sleepovers)

We are looking for enthusiastic social care workers to join a team who motivate each other to provide the best possible service supporting clients in their own homes. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the ever-growing team for sleepover shifts.
Starting rate is £12.00 per hour and contract hours are 20 per week between 8PM and 9AM (hours vary between care packages). The Company has two vacancies available.
Ideal candidates should be team players, be sensitive to the needs of individuals and colleague, have the ability to remain calm under pressure, be experienced in dealing with and managing behaviour that challenges, have strong communication skills to motivate other people and have an enthusiastic empathetic personality.

Professional qualifications in Social Services and Healthcare are highly desirable; however, the right candidates will be supported to complete these throughout their career with us. It is desirable that applicants have experience working in a care and support environment, however all essential training will be given during induction.

- who can support and encourage with activities around the home and out in the community
Your responsibilities would include following individual support plans, medication administration, helping with necessary tasks (which may include personal care), promoting independent living within the local community and supporting individual outcome achievements.
We will require an update/registration of Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme to work with vulnerable adults and will need to ensure compliance with SSSC registration.
