The Sirona Temporary Staffing Team provide flexible clinical and non-clinical support to our Teams across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). Our NHS and Local Authority funded services span all age groups. Our aim is to support people in their own homes and local communities through our skilled and experienced clinical teams.
As a Health Care Assistant you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of patient interventions within an inpatient setting. These could include venipuncture, wound care, electrocardiogram (ECG) recording, and wound dressings.
As a member of the Temporary Staffing Team, we recognise your need for flexibility to balance home and work commitments. In supporting such flexibility, we hope to tailor opportunities to fit around you.
Main duties of the job
Your main responsibility will be to work as part of a multi professional team to support the registered nursing and allied healthcare professionals in delivering clinical and therapeutic care to service users.
This will include contributing to the holistic assessment of service users by assisting clinical staff in the assessment and treatment of patients referred to our services.
Additionally, it will be your duty to provide and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all patients and carers and seek further advice from trained staff if an emergency should arise

Essential criteria- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Care Certificate
Experience
Essential criteria- Experiencing of providing care in a healthcare or social setting
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of service users with a range of communication needs and/ or cultural backgrounds
- Experience of direct patient care in a health or social care setting
- Experience of Community Nursing and able to demonstrate Community Nursing skills
- Experience of Community Rehabilitation
