The role will have a primary focus on creating effective process control documentation, standard frameworks and risk and control maps.

As a Process Risk & Control Manager you will be a part of the Risk & Compliance Practice where you will be a trusted advisor and partner of choice for financial institutions in Risk & Compliance transformation, with the objective of meeting dynamic demands from global regulators and market competition.

The practice focuses on offering solutions in industry leading themes such as - Financial Crime Prevention, Regulatory Change Management, GRC, ESG, Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting.

Purpose of the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Process Risk and Control Manager to join our team. The successful individual will be responsible for designing the way we document processes and controls, as well as providing strong quality assurance on the creation of risk and control maps.

This role requires a deep understanding of risk management, process documentation, and quality assurance.

Your Responsibilities:

As the Process Risk & Control Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Design Process Documentation:Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and controls to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Quality Assurance:Provide strong Quality Assurance skills to ensure the accuracy and completeness of risk and control maps
  • Risk Assessment:Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate risks
  • Control Evaluation:Perform regular evaluations of processes and controls to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently
  • Compliance Monitoring:Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Reporting:Prepare detailed reports on control deficiencies, risks, and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaboration:Work closely with process owners, IT, audit, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Training and Awareness:Provide training and awareness programs to educate staff on process documentation, risk management, and control requirements

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in Process and Risk Control in a similar company or Risk & Compliance setting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to inform managers and other stakeholders of results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio and other analysis programs
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages, such as SQL and Python
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data
  • Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts
  • Presentation skills, including public speaking and presentation creation using PowerPoint or a similar program
  • Detailed knowledge of workflow and process control software
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with team management
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting, or similar
