Head of Philosophy, Religion & Ethics (TLR 1.1 £9,782)
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, well qualified PRE specialist to lead a dynamic department which is popular with large numbers choosing to study PRE at GCSE and A level. Examination results are excellent and the subject enjoys a high status within the school.This role also involves responsibility for the provision of religious education for all students in each key stage as part of our core PRE provision. In addition, the postholder has a responsibility for leading with respect to the school’s designation as an Academy with a religious character (CoE).
For a successful candidate with PGCE credits, we are able to support the completion of an MA. Accommodation at a very competitive rate may be available. Our admissions policy prioritises children of staff.
