Supply teacher - Kettering
Position: Day-to-Day Supply Teacher (Primary)
Location: Wellingborough, NN8
Rate of Pay: £130-£150 per day
Key Stages: KS1 and KS2
About the Role
We are seeking a committed and adaptable supply teacher to provide high-quality teacher and classroom support on a day-to-day basis in primary schools across Wellingborough. This role is perfect for someone who wants to work part time/wants flexibility within their hours - there is also a chance to work full time if this suits you.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and KS2 in line with the national curriculum
- Provide continuity in education during teacher absences by maintaining a structured and positive learning environment
- Follow lesson plans provided or create and adapt lessons as required
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to foster a safe and productive learning space.
- Enjoy making a positive impact on learners' education
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching across KS1 and KS2
- Strong classroom management skills
- A current DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent communication skills
- A competitive daily rate of £130-150 dependent on experience
