Assembly Operator
Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Operators / Assemblers to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Mamhilad / Pontypool area.
These roles are with immediate start for the right candidates, working within a fantastic working environment with great rates of pay on offer.
Summary:As a Production Assembly Operative, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, focusing on the assembly of components with precision and efficiency.
Hours of work include:
These roles will initially be working on a days/ afternoons pattern Monday-Friday.- Days - 06:00am - 14:00pm Monday - Friday
- Afternoons - 14:00pm - 22:00pm Monday - Friday
- Working on production lines, operating machinery / equipment in an efficient, safe and productive manner to a high standard.
- Assembling of safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracy
- Assembly of medium to heavy components candidates will need to be dexterous
- Use of pneumatic and hydraulic tooling.
- Able to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including Verniers/ calliper and other tools as required by specific jobs.
- Experienced in the use of hand, power and air tools
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Must operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand
- Hand and eye coordination
The desired candidates will have:
- Ideally, candidates will have previous experience within a similar Production Assembly based role (automotive, aerospace sectors)
- Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
- Ability to work with hand-held tooling systems and equipment
