This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Community Planning and Development team in Argyll and Bute. The post holder will be part of a Community Development team and will contribute with a particular focus on supporting communities in Helensburgh and Lomond, offering community capacity building support, advice on funding, developing and delivering training, supporting community engagement corporately, supporting community voice in community planning, partnership working and providing information and resources to support communities to develop action plans.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated individual with good knowledge of legislation and good practice in Community Learning and Development, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a supportive team across Argyll and Bute.

You should have a relevant degree or qualification in Community Development or equivalent.

The post is 35 hours per week on a hybrid basis with an office base and will involve travel at times across Argyll and Bute and working in a range of locations within communities.
