The Role: You already know this bit however, as a senior paint technician, you'll bring your passion, extensive experience, industry knowledge and play a vital role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix paint to match vehicle colours accurately.
- The Application of coatings to a variety of vehicles sizes
- Maintain a clean and organized mixing room + gun cleaning room.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements: We're looking for individuals who not only possess the necessary technical skills but also embody the values that define our company culture. To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a senior paint technician in an accident repair setting.
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, paint mixing, and application methods.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in automotive painting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience of mentoring others, sharing your experience with colleagues supporting future development.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- A genuine desire to be part of a supportive and welcoming work environment.
