Experienced Cleaner - Manchester Airport

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Shifts Time: 22:00 pm to 06:00 am
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Full Training provided
• Immediate start available!
• Temp-to-perm opportunity (performance related)

Key Duties:

• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout airport terminals and associated office spaces.
• Conduct regular deep cleans of designated areas, including restrooms, lounges, and high-traffic public spaces.
• Perform carpet cleaning and floor scrubbing using specialist machinery and approved chemicals.
• Undertake litter picking in external zones, including car parks and walkways.
• Carry out jet washing and chewing gum removal from surfaces as required.
• Conduct routine cleaning inspections and maintain accurate activity logs and checklists.
• Handle and apply cleaning products in accordance with Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with fellow team members to ensure efficient coverage and support.
• Follow all airport safety and security protocols, including ID checks and restricted area access procedures.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of deep cleaning, floor care (scrubbing/polishing), and carpet cleaning techniques.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Great attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be over 18
• Previous cleaning or airport experience is a bonus
• Full UK driving licence (essential for gritting duties)
