Outline of the job
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the providing administrative and programmatic support across several of Zinc’s large information integrity and civil society support projects. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Senior Project Managers in making sure all aspects of the projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.They will assist with writing and reviewing project documents (including some copy editing), contribute to ongoing research projects, contribute to quarterly reporting and results tracking, as well as providing general administrative support (scheduling meetings, taking notes, etc.). This is an entry level position, but with potential for growth for the right candidate.
The Project Coordinator will collaborate with a regional team across Europe. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for information integrity and its impact on the lives of people around the world as well as a deep understanding of the Eastern and Central European region.
The Project Coordinator will be based in London and be expected to be in our London office at least 3 days per week.
What you’ll be doing- Provide programmatic and administrative support for two large projects promoting information integrity;
- Assist with scheduling meetings, taking notes, finalising and sharing documents, and other administrative tasks as assigned;
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ideas for supporting a network of partners in Central and Eastern Europe;
- Work with the research and MREL teams to support project learning;
- Represent Zinc at high-level meetings with clients and project partners, all while embodying the values of Zinc Network
Requirements
Education:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree a plus
- At least one year of socially responsible administrative or project management experience.
- Native-level fluency with written and spoken English.
- Superb attention to detail, strong writing skills and ability to work across multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with major office software.
- An interest in media, international development and/or foreign policy.
