Role Purpose
Manage the delivery of large and complex projects within the Trans-Pennine Route Upgrade (TRU) program collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve project objectives minimize passenger disruption and ensure the realization of project benefits Key Responsibilities- Lead project teams to deliver TRU objectives
- Oversee project planning setting milestones and monitoring progress
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Network Rail Train Operating Companies and contractors
- Ensure compliance with project management policies risk management processes and legal requirements
- Take corrective actions to address issues and monitor project performance
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Professional qualification in project or program management (e g PRINCE2)
- Extensive experience managing large complex multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong knowledge of the rail and transport industry
- Proven leadership communication and financial management skills
