We are seeking a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, this role is integral to our operations, requiring a diligent and methodical individual who thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a knack for maintaining accuracy while processing data and will be comfortable working to tight deadlines.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Registering and costing purchase ledger invoices on COINS ERP system.
• Generating and facilitating payment runs.
• Addressing and resolving queries from suppliers and staff.
• Contributing to period-end reporting.
• Providing support for other general accounts tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role is ideal.
• Familiarity with dealing with suppliers and line managers.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Methodical and numerate with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive approach under tight deadlines.
• Confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels.
