We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Doctor (Consultant (Psych) to lead a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) within a Community Mental Health Team.
This role involves triaging referrals from GPs and other services, directing patients to the appropriate pathway, and providing advice and guidance to GPs.
Role: Consultant (Psych)Location: Lancaster
Rate: £150 - £155 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time - 1 year with potential to extend
Key Responsibilities (Consultancy:
- Lead the MDT in assessing and managing referrals.
- Ensure patients are appropriately referred, including to the Initial Response Service.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to GPs.
Requirements:
- Approved Clinician (AC) status - essential.
- Experience in community mental health and triage preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Own transport required.
