Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer (Part-Time) c20 hours per week Location: GillinghamSalary: £17.79 per hourHours: Part-time (Approx. 20 hours per week)Working Days: Monday to FridayHoliday: 20 days (pro-rata) + 8 bank holidays (increasing with service)About the Role We re looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Gillingham on a part-time basis.
This role is key to ensuring our equipment runs smoothly, carrying out preventative maintenance, and responding to breakdowns efficiently.What You ll Be Doing: Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults. Carrying out planned maintenance (PM) to prevent breakdowns.
Working closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company policies. Keeping accurate maintenance records and ordering necessary parts. Using power tools and working safely at heights if required.
What We re Looking For: Essential: Experience in a manufacturing, processing, or warehouse environment. Electrically biased with electrical qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance engineering. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
