Student Support Assistant
Location: Hounslow
Salary: £14 - £15 per hour
Tradewind is excited to partner with a college in Hounslow, seeking a dedicated and passionate Student Support Assistant to join their team full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on students' educational experiences, particularly those who may face behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students, especially those with behavioural difficulties.
Assist in maintaining a positive learning environment and managing classroom behaviour.
Collaborate with teachers to implement behaviour management strategies effectively.
Support the educational and emotional development of individual students.
Requirements:
Prior experience working with students who have behavioural challenges.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
A positive and patient attitude, dedicated to student success.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working with secondary school students.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- Professional reference checks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:40 P
