Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a passion for administrative work? King's Mill Hospital is seeking a dedicated Corporate Planned Care Clerk to join our Corporate Planned Care Team.
As a Corporate Planned Care Clerk, you will support the CPC Team by locating and tracking patient case notes, maintaining elective care validation reports, procedures, and audits, and updating information on the hospital's Patient Administrative System.You will also handle phone calls from the public regarding their care pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely locating and tracking of patient case notes for validation and audit purposes.
- Supporting CPC Validators and Team Leaders with maintaining elective care validation reports, procedures, and audits.
- Updating specific information on the hospital's Patient Administrative System following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Handling phone calls from the public and providing information about their care pathways.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- NVQ Level 2 or relevant experience
- ECDL
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality in a healthcare setting
- Experience of working in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Experience of Medway PAS/hospital systems
- Knowledge of NHS data standards and data quality issues
Skills
Essential criteria- Microsoft Office Applications including Word and Excel
- Keyboard skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good data verification skills to ensure accuracy of data input
Personal Skills
Essential criteria- Good written and verbal communication skills (e.g. liaise with other teams to locate lost notes that are needed urgently).
- Ability to develop good working relationships
- Ability to ensure behaviour reflects values of the organisation
- Ability to work with sensitivity/tact, including a commitment to confidentiality
