Recruitment Administrator

We are looking for a Recruitment Administrator to join an in-house recruitment team, supporting with the compliance and onboarding of new starters. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working proactively to ensure all pre-employment checks are completed accurately and on time.

- Remote role (must be able to commute to Hertfordshire office once or twice a month)
- £28,000 per year equivilent
- Temporary position with potential to go permanent
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing pre-employment compliance, ensuring all new starters meet the necessary requirements.
- Chasing and obtaining references in a timely manner.
- Coordinating and processing DBS checks for all new employees.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems with compliance information.
- Liaising with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Supporting the wider recruitment team with general administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong administrative experience, ideally within recruitment, HR, or compliance.
- Proactive and confident in chasing outstanding documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
- Strong communication skills - able to liaise professionally with candidates and external agencies.
- Familiarity with DBS checks and compliance processes (desirable but not essential).
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and internal systems to track progress.
