Accounts Assistant
About The Role:
We are working with a highly regarded, luxury furniture design studio in West London that are looking for a for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and social team.
Our client is known globally for their notable designs and their collaborations on luxury projects with top industry names. Working closely with the head of department, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the finance department.The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and have previous experience within a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices, credit card and employee expenses
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and approve payment runs
- Record payments and receipts
- Generate and issue client invoices
- Reconcile bank transactions and process payments
- Oversee the accounts inbox and ensure proper filing of all records
- Address and resolve queries while assisting with various ad-hoc tasks
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within retail or the furniture industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of multicurrency and foreign exchange processes
- AAT qualification or equivalent preferred but not essential
- Interest in the creative industry is a plus
