We seek to appoint a Post 16 Cover Work and Enrichment Coordinator. The start date will be as soon as we have satisfactory clearances for the successful candidate. This is a temporary post until 31 August 2025, pending an ongoing budget/staffing review.The RoleThe Cover work and Enrichment coordinator is an important part of the sixth form support team, ensuring that work for absent staff is available for affected classes, including supervising lessons where necessary.
The post holder will also be responsible for coordinating the sixth form students involved in work-experience and volunteering (both inside and outside the school), promoting and monitoring our wide range of enrichment activities within the sixth form, and providing back-up to the sixth form tutors and heads of year in supporting students with pastoral needs.

The successful applicant will be trained in First Aid to a level capable of providing first response support. This training will be funded by the school.
This post is 35 hours per week and graded BG8, term time only plus 5 in-service training days INSET days plus 1 week. The salary is BG8, which is currently equivalent to £28,163 rising to £30,060 per annum (gross) (paid pro rata).
