Join Our Clients Team as a Maintenance Assistant! ?️✨
Are you handy with tools and passionate about keeping spaces in top shape? Our client is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their vibrant facilities team in Elephant & Castle, London!
Pay Rate: £13.85 - £14.50, depending on experienceDuration: On-going ad hoc shifts
Hours: 9am to 5:30pm
What You'll Do:
- Maintain high standards of repair and cleanliness across the venue, office, and co-working spaces
- Meet strict maintenance deadlines and be a key holder for venue openings
- Collaborate with the facilities and operations teams to enhance our environments
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checks to ensure compliance with regulations
- Handle maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work
- Liaise with contractors and manage deliveries effectively
- Be flexible and ready for any ad-hoc requests!
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in maintenance roles
- Skills in painting, decorating, plumbing and carpentry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritisation abilities
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations
