- Accountable for own professional practice and the delivery of highly specialist psychological care to adults seeking autism assessment in STW; and autistic adults accessing other associated services within the Specialist Care Group Services in STW. 2. In agreement with Operational Lead for STW Adult Autism Assessment Service, Head of Service and Professional Lead for Psychological Services within the Care Group, to provide clinical leadership and direction across Adult Autism Assessment Service and associated services. 3. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/team. 4. To ensure that systems are in place and working effectively for clinical and professional supervision. 5. To be compassionate in meeting the psychological needs of autistic adults and those querying possible neurodivergence within relevant MPFT services in STW. 6. To provide expert advice, clinical supervision and training to less experienced colleagues within the designated service and to other healthcare professionals across the organisation. 7. To undertake co-ordination and management of research and development projects within the designated service. 8. To provide clinical leadership in the continual development and provision of excellence across the service. 9. To promote at all times the importance of mainstream services offering reasonable adjustments to autistic adults and those with other neurodevelopmental needs. 10. To promote at all times a positive image of the service and the wider Trust. 11. To embed a culture of outcomes-based practice and to review clinical outcomes of service delivery, and to identify changes in practice to improve outcomes. 12. To provide senior clinician input to future pathway developments for neurodiversity in STW.
