Grade and Salary: Grade 4: £24,947 - £27,062 actual salary per annum pro rata (£27,711 - £30,060 FTE)
Working pattern: 37 hours per week / 41 weeks per yearContract term: Permanent
The role:
As a Careers Advisor, you will work across member schools within the Trust in order to provide high quality, impartial, information, advice and guidance (IAG) to help young people make well-informed and realistic decisions about their progression routes.
Your role will include the provision of IAG, organising careers events, promoting and co-ordinating work experience as well as establishing an effective network of partners including educational institutions, employers and specialist providers.
The person:
To secure this role you must hold the Level 6 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice or Level 4 in Careers Information and Advice and willing to work towards a Level 6. The successful candidate will be able to offer recent experience of careers education and guidance in an educational setting.You will also need to be up to date with modern methods of communication and understand the academic and non-academic progression routes open to young people.
If interested in the role but do not hold the relevant Level 4 or Level 6 qualification, we may be able to offer an Apprenticeship to the right candidate. Please note that this would be on an Apprentice wage not the salary listed.
