The Role

We are seeking a qualified Project Planner to join our team at EECO2. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating resources and ensuring timely project delivery for energy efficiency initiatives within the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Project Schedules

Create detailed project timelines using Celoxis.
Define project tasks, milestones, and dependencies.

Resource Allocation & Coordination

Ensure appropriate allocation of resource, equipment, and materials.
Identify resource gaps and constraints to optimise efficiency.

Risk Identification & Mitigation

Identify potential risks that could impact project timelines.
Develop contingency plans to minimise disruptions.

Monitor & Track Project Progress

Regularly update schedules based on actual progress.
Identify and address delays or bottlenecks.

Budget & Cost Control Support

Support cost forecasting and value earned management.

Alignproject schedules with budgetary constraints.

Professional Certifications – 1 or more

Project Management Professional (PMP®) – PMI
PRINCE2 Practitioner (UK & International)
Primavera P6 Professional Certification (for scheduling)
Microsoft Project Certification (for planning & scheduling)

Association for Project Management (APM) Certification

Industry Experience

Entry-level: 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or planning.
Mid-level: 3–7 years of hands-on experience managing project schedules.
Senior-level: 7+ years, often requiring leadership in project planning roles.

Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, IT, or energy is a strong advantage.

Skills

Analytical Thinking – Ability to analyse complex project data and identify risks.
Problem-solving – Quick decision-making to adjust schedules and resolve delays.

Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in project schedules and reports.
