About us

This will include 4 nights out. We are looking for holiday cover for our 5 drivers, someone who would seamlessly be able to come in and cover their work during vacations/Sickness (Roughly 20 weeks per year). Advanced notice would be provided where possible.

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods to specified destinations throughout the UK.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Load and unload cargo from the truck using appropriate equipment
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues that may arise
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe and efficient transportation of goods

• Valid DCPC
• Valid C+E driving licence with a maximum of 6 points. No DR10`s.
• Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
• Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including nights out and weekends if required
• Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations is preferred but not required as training can be given.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo as needed
