Job Description- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Analyse financial data to support strategic business decisions.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor and control financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting and finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification or Qualified by experience (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the FMCG industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per annum.
