Location: LeatherheadEmployment Type: Full-time/Part-time
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home (if full time)
Salary: 30k Full time
I am working with a small, dynamic company with a dedicated team of 11 in total. They are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join them to support their financial and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, chasing payments and invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- HMRC queries
- Assist with monthly payslips for 11 staff
- Creating reports and spreadsheets on Excel
- Generate financial reports and statements
Other / General:
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain and organize company files and records.
- Provide general administrative support to the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Bookkeeping position
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
