Job Title: Secondary School Teaching Assistant (SEN 1:1 Support)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs, ensuring they have the best possible learning experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.- Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN, adapting learning resources to meet individual needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Support students in both academic and social aspects of school life.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents/carers where necessary.
- Promote students' independence and confidence in learning.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student progress.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. , CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Qualification, or equivalent) are an advantage but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
