The post holder will be expected to workautonomously and manage a complex case load of patients requiring Podiatry Services. The work will include outpatientpodiatry clinicsandpatienthomevisit. The post holder will alsobe responsible forService development and will work with the Podiatry Clinical and Service lead to lead on Service improvement and transformation projects.

The post holder will act as a clinical specialist for patients with long termconditions, they willbe responsible forpatient athigh riskofdegeneration intissueviability, loss of function to mobilise or low quality of life.As this is aSeniorpost, there is a lot of scope to explore and develop the role of the podiatrist inhelping patients withlong term conditions.

  • To deputise for the Podiatry Service and Clinical lead during times of leave and absence and support the team with clinical and management leadership.
  • Tobe responsible forthe management of the day-to-day clinical provision of Foot Health Services for your clinics
  • Toassistthe Clinical Lead Podiatrist in delivering appropriateequitableand effective Foot Health Services.
  • To have a leadership role in developing the Foot Health Service for patients and our team members.
  • To undertake clinical supervision with staff membersdesignatedto you
  • To be actively involved in induction ofnew staffto the team.
