Our mid-sized law firm client are currently looking for a new Infrastructure Security Engineer (365, Azure, Intune, Defender, Azure Security Center, DLP) to join their team on a permanent basis. With a new COO and managing partner joining the firm, they are revamping and revitalising their IT structure into a departmentalised fashion, this is going to result in a much more efficient, fluid and business improving IT Setup.
This role will have a focus on both the IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and the network whilst also being able to respond to security incidients and performing root cause analysis, implementing infrastructure changes in accordance with established processes.
To be considered for this Infrastructure Security Engineer (365, Azure, Intune, Defender, Azure Security Center, DLP) role, it's ideal that you have:
- 3 + Years within IT Infrastructure
- Awarness of IT Security processes and platforms such as, Windows Defender, Azure Security Centre, DLP methods
- Strong experience with Azure
- Ideal but not required law firm experience.
Responsibilites:
- Maintain, monitor, and support servers, storage, and network infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and high availability.
- Respond to technical and security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement infrastructure changes in accordance with established processes.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, access controls, and compliance with security policies.
- Manage backup systems and disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection and business continuity.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and resource utilization for maximum efficiency and develop and apply automation tools and scripts to streamline infrastructure management and reduce manual tasks.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
