The Exciting Role

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our student-focused team. We would particularly like to speak to candidates with experience of delivering on the Motor Vehicle qualifications.

The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington & Rossendale College but may be required to travel across sites.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • For candidates with relevant experience, have specific responsibility for developing the MotorVehicle curriculum and developing employer relationships to support industry placements.
  • Teach on other Motor Vehicle programmes as required (Entry level to Level 3)
  • Be up to date, plan and prepare high-quality teaching as required by your Line Manager
  • Develop and share resources for the subject including maintaining effective links across College for resources
  • Regularly assess students in order to track and monitor progress

What We Are Looking For:

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
  • Minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject
  • Recognised teaching and assessor qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment
  • A higher degree or advanced qualification
  • Assessor and Verifier Qualifications
