Industrial Cleaner - Southampton

My client, a leading property transformation company dedicated to turning homeowners’ dreams into reality with a world-class customer experience, are seeking dedicated and meticulous Industrial Cleaners to join their dynamic team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Perform cleaning tasks based on specified standards and procedures, ensuring all areas of the facility are clean and orderly.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and steam cleaners.
• Handle and dispose of industrial waste according to environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, performing basic repairs and reporting any malfunctions.
• Adhere to health and safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure that spaces meet hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a UK driving licence
• Experience in industrial cleaning or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and the safety procedures for handling them.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness in following through with tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage time effectively.
