Delivers concise and accurate risk control services to clients in the assigned territory to assist in the control and prevention of losses.

Provides technical advice and account information to underwriting business partners for risk assessment and analysis. We are looking for someone based in the South/South West of England. What Will You Do? Conduct risk control surveys at client locations to determine potential hazards and risk factors for underwriting/risk selection.Write detailed reports providing clear risk assessments and recommendations.Consult with clients on hazard control to reduce or prevent losses.Build and maintain relationships with underwriting and support teams, brokers/agents, claims, other Risk Control staff, and clients.Research class of business, operations, or technical subjects for underwriters or clients.Analyze loss trends and identify opportunities to offer risk control products/services to reduce losses.Stay informed about regulatory environments and emerging safety issues.Operate in accordance with company policies, procedures, and controls.Assist in creating and maintaining client/broker materials and conduct training/presentations as needed.Negotiate with professional advisors and authorities regarding loss control management to ensure compliance.Promote Travelers products and philosophy through client visits, maximizing growth and profit opportunities.Perform other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Responsibility for: complying with Travelers Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, HR policies, and delivering high-quality service.Handling complaints per company guidelines and personal authority.Adherence to FSA, Financial Regulator, and Sarbanes Oxley guidelines.Ability to work as part of a team and develop strong relationships with brokers and customers.Effective communication of actions and their impacts across disciplines.Compliance with environmental policies and proper record-keeping.Continuous personal and business improvement.

What Is a Must Have? Experience in safety, risk control, or related fields such as construction, manufacturing, military, or a relevant bachelors degree.Ability to attain necessary certifications to meet legal requirements where applicable.
