Job Description- Owning the financial control, reporting and analysis of capital expenditure across the business
- Leading fixed asset accounting, including maintenance of the register and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and spend reviews for large‑scale and ongoing projects
- Working closely with project managers to provide financial insight and challenge
- Contributing to statutory reporting, year‑end close and the external audit process
- Acting as a technical accounting point of contact for finance and wider stakeholder groups
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with a minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience
- Proven experience supporting statutory accounts preparation, year‑end and audit
- Strong technical grounding in UK GAAP
- Advanced Excel capability, with confidence using systems and data to improve finance processes
- Highly organised, able to manage priorities and deliver effectively in a fast‑paced environment
