English Teacher Required – Surrey Secondary School

Position: English Teacher (Full-Time / Part-Time considered)Location: Surrey
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
About the Role:You will deliver engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will play a key role in supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes in both Language and Literature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
- Support students of varying abilities to reach their full potential
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in English or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for education and student achievement
