Cost and Management Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the R&D finance team to join as Management Accountant to provide a comprehensive financial management support to the Research & Development Directorate.
This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. We are looking for a highly motivated, committed and reliable individual with experience of working within a Finance department. You will have:
- First degree in Accounting and or Final stages of CCAB/CIMA/ ACCA professional Accountancy qualification
- Technical competency and excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent commitment to service delivery
- Experience working in fast paced environment
- Commercial acumen
- Ability to establish good working relationship with external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Accounting packages – Oracle
- Microsoft Office skills– Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Ability to work in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders including clinicians.
