England - Commercial Officer (£193 Per Day InsideIR35)

Are you an experienced Commercial Officer looking to make a significant impact in the Commercial Services sector? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Commercial team, supporting procurement and contract management activities across various categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to cost savings and operational performance improvements within the People and Professional Services Pillar.
• Conduct strategic market analysis and financial data assessments to inform contracting strategies and risk management.
• Support the management of multiple contracts and assist in identifying new opportunities to achieve savings targets.
• Collaborate with analyst teams to evaluate current spending and operational needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A Level qualification (or equivalent).
• CIPS Level 3 qualified or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial environment.
• Proven experience in managing minimal risk projects throughout the commercial lifecycle.
• Strong background in commercial and contractual negotiations.
• Expertise in spend analysis trends with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in gathering and analysing data to support financial planning and risk assessment.
• Effective stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with EU regulations governing the commercial lifecycle.
• Knowledge of social value tools applicable in commercial contracts.
• Understanding of selection and award criteria in RFQ and tender processes.
