Maintenance Engineer

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Permanent Position

6am - 2pm rotating to 2pm - 10pm

Based in Birmingham

Manufacturing and production background an advantage

• Maintain and Improve availability targets for key performance equipment.
• Previous Maintenance Engineer experience required
• Reduce changeover times for adaptability and capacity to within agreed targets, to be individually agreed per WorkCentre (TBA)
• Define and improve technical changeovers using lean techniques (i.e. SMED)
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities relating to Production, Engineering & Manufacturing
• Ensure all tasks are completed to the correct product quality standards
• Support Production with equipment modifications and new product introduction.
• - Time served apprenticeship to HNC level or similar qualification in a related engineering field and experience within a similar role
• Multi-skilled training with ideally an electrical bias
• PLC fault finding and modifications experience (Preferred)

• 37.5 hours per week - rotating 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
• Based in Birmingham
• £45k to £50k per annum depending on experience
• Permanent position
