IT Support Engineer
Robert Half Technology are assisting UK's market leading marketing organisation to recruit a IT Support Engineer on a contract basis
Role- The IT Support Engineer will configure, maintain and monitor existing infrastructure and ensure that it is functioning correctly.
- Provide technical and procedural direction to the company for the actual implementation of the network servers used, as well as interface with internal users, development personnel and other technical staff.
- Ensure day-to-day maintenance tasks are performed, for example monitoring systems, and reporting functions as well as maintenance of the corporate backup and disaster recovery plan.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of hardware upgrades, network upgrades and new configurations.
- Document technical requirements, develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures. Facilitate design sessions and architectural reviews. Participate in technical advisory roles, as required.
- The IT Support Engineer will have experience of administrating Office 365 environment including Exchange
- Experience of administrating Office 365 environment including Exchange
- Experience of administrating Windows server services and features such as DHCP, Printer, DNS and Microsoft Active directory
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Windows 10 and 11 deployment experience, including autopilot, modern desktop experience, working with Microsoft End point manager
- UK's leading marketing organisation
- Onsite required - offices in London
