About Our Client
Michael Page have registered a new, 12 month fixed term contract Payroll Coordinator position for a well established Professional Services business based in York. Due to projects taking place within the company, our client has this exciting opportunity available and can offer flexible working hours, a hybrid working arrangement and the potential for this position to be extended.
Job Description- Manage the end-to-end payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Coordinate with HR to validate and update payroll data as required.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries regarding payroll issues.
- Prepare reports for senior management on payroll metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and company regulations.
- Collaborate with finance team to ensure smooth integration of payroll data into financial systems.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation.
- Proven experience in payroll and be confident with the duties listed above.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to liaise with various departments and employees.
