We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As an Autism Support Worker, you will:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students.
- Assist in the development of social skills, communication, and independence in students.
- Foster a supportive and understanding environment to help students manage their emotions and behaviour.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
- Participate in training and professional development to stay updated on best practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of young people.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
