HGV Technician needed

Up to £50,000 per annum with shift allowance

Exeter

Our client, a Truck and Van company supporting Trucking, Transport and Logistics Industries, is seeking for a HGV Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be carrying out all aspects of service, repair and maintenance work on all commercial vehicles that are booked into the workshop.

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Hours:

• Permanent evening shift, based on a 45-hour week would be 1.00pm - 10.30pm.
• Split shift would be Monday to Friday, week one, 6.00am to 3.30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch. Monday to Friday, week two, 1.00pm to 10.30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch.
• Flexibility is available for start and finish times to fit with family and work life balance.

Location: Exeter

Key responsibilities of HGV Technician:

• Vehicle inspection
• General servicing
• Fault diagnosis
• Repair of vehicle defects
• Road test vehicles
• MOT preparation/presentation
• Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty
• Completion of all required paperwork accurately

Requirements for HGV Technician:

• Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three of equivalent).
• Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry.
• Have a full driving licence, ideally include HGV Licence
