Pay: £95 - £105 per day

Long Term Futures are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a SEMH/Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Grantham (NG31). This school is committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.

This role focuses on supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including those with Autism and challenging behaviours. It is a fantastic opportunity to positively influence students' development, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful trial day.

  • Plan and deliver targeted interventions for pupils requiring additional SEMH support.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, sharing feedback with teaching staff and contributing to support plans.
  • Adaptable and proactive individuals who can confidently support students in a variety of classroom settings, both indoors and outdoors.
  • A caring and responsive approach, with a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, fostering positive interactions with both staff and students.
  • Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly SEMH and Autism, is highly desirable.
